St. Martin is second only to the British Virgin Islands as our most popular sailing area in the Caribbean. Sailing St. Martin allows you to explore some of the beautiful islands in the eastern Caribbean, including mainland St. Martin, Anguilla and St. Barts. Divers and snorkelers can enjoy some of the most spectacular unspoiled reefs in the world. St. Martin is located about 150 miles north of Guadeloupe and is part of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean Sea. It is the smallest landmass in the world shared by two independent countries, in this case, France and the Netherlands. The island gives you a taste of the delightful charms of this region with world-class restaurants, casual beach bars, legendary and (sometimes infamous) beaches, live music and fascinating colonial history. St. Martin sailing charters need to include a visit to the nearby island of Anguilla, where uncrowded beaches are dotted with quaint beach bars and cafes. Road Bay is the main port of Anguilla, and it’s a charming village set on a stunning beach.Sailing to the island of St. Barts is a St. Martin yacht charter favorite. Shopping and dining are at their best in the lovely European-influenced port town of Gustavia. The beaches are equally appealing, including the little known Shell Beach and the scenic Saline Beach.
